Bird no. 355. How did you even get under there?!
.
I’m scared to look under stuff lately, for fear of what I’ll find underneath. Today in the apartment has been better than any other so far, and I hope I’ve turned a corner and it just keeps getting easier and feeling more like home.
.
I can tell things are getting better because I feel hope and I’m getting excited for projects again, like little seedlings sprouting up after the snow.
.
I don’t know what I would do if I discovered I had a secret 4+ legged roommate 😱 tbh that might set me back to square one 😂 (at Montreal, Quebec)

Bird no. 357. Beakin’.
.
The internet is out at my house today and this is how I feel* 🤣😭
.
I only had the reference photos on my phone to choose from, so here is an unsolicited portrait of someone’s bird 😘
.
In this moment, I’m grateful that I live in a safe neighborhood (in a city!) and that it’s still functionally summer time – otherwise I would be much less content to be sitting on the curb outside the 24h Tim Hortons using free city wifi at midnight 😂
.
*I’m not actually going to beak anybody**
