Ziggy is notoriously difficult to record singing/talking, but for some reason he became less shy after I turned the light off.
Yes, that is actually him saying “hello Ziggy!” in what is pretty much my own voice coming out of a starling. The rest of the chirps and words he learned from my cockatiels, who are less proficient at mimicking.
