This beautiful girl is nesting in the Lilly Pilly near my mothers house. She’s busy defending her egg from the local Butcher Birds (I think my mum might be helping her a bit sometimes).

I spotted this birb at a park last April, sitting on a nest of eggs (which unfortunately were obscured by the branches in this picture). I did some research, and think she may be a red-shouldered hawk!

Today, my mum rescued this baby feral dove. It’s really cute and I named it Robin because we already have a pigeon named Batman.

so i saw this old man with a flock of at least a hundred pigeons, he was feeding them, and petting them and talking to them and it was honestly so beautiful
No photos but I used not be scarred of birds but I had never touched one or thought of touching one especially parrots because those beaks are slightly intimidating haha, but a couple years ago I was at a pet store and they had what I now know was a Galah Cockatoo. It would move towards me everytime I passed and for whatever reason I stuck my finger in and he/she let me tickle his neck. Now I love Galah Cockatoos. So I’m just wondering if you have anything Galah related?
