i need submissions again!

as of right now, my todaysbird queue is only enough for about half a month. that’s pretty low! i need some submissions of birds. i have them automatically scheduled to post once a day as “today’s bird” along with their species, and name if they have one.

please submit:

any kind of bird! doesn’t matter if it’s a pet, wild, common or rare. must be YOUR PHOTO!

no text other than “today’s bird is: (name if applicable) the (species)”. if you happen to submit more text i will probably edit it!

if you have other bird related things (feathers/nests/bird themed items) you feel like sharing, you can submit them too 🙂

please don’t submit:

any other animal (if there’s a bird in the picture it’s ok)

dead birds/gore (stuffed specimens/bones etc are ok if it’s for educational purposes)

hi everyone! @todaysbird is in need of submissions! my goal is to post one bird a day to familiarize people with new species, put names to species people may ‘know’ but not know how to identify, and overall just make people smile with cute birds + bring people to love species they may not have cared about before! however, this blog relies on submissions and my own photos. i just don’t have access to that many birds very often – sure i have backyard birds, but i can’t get great photos without disturbing them, and people only want to see the budgies at my local petco so many times. that’s why i rely on you! i would REALLY appreciate submissions of any bird to this blog. your bird, a bird you saw outside, a rescue bird, anything as long as it’s YOUR photo. thank you!! 🙂
