why do people make a blanket statement and call geese ugly. have you looked at geese. personally i find good old canada geese very pretty but if they aren’t your taste…theres very many beautiful geese! for example:

brant
hawaiian goose

people who really resent canada geese need to remember that most of the time, when they’re being aggressive it’s because they’re territorial over their nesting space & their young. and their young look like this:
dont even pretend you wouldn’t go absolutely nuts to protect them

the ross’s goose is a small member of the goose family, found in north america (primarily canada). though the ross’s goose is similar in appearance to the snow goose, they are around 40% smaller.

frequently mistaken for the familiar canadian goose, the brant is a much smaller goose with darker coloration. the brant has range that overlaps with the canada goose (they can be found in north america + europe) but have different defining characteristics, and tend to be less likely to attack.

this leucistic canada goose was spotted in ontario, canada. leucistic animals are not fully albino, but still lack pigment and appear lighter than normal.
