domestication is so…absolutely wild. the fact that through breeding animals can be changed to be so vastly different yet still the same species…wild!

red junglefowl are native to asia, and are the main species domestic chickens are descended from. ‘pure’ junglefowl are becoming increasingly harder to find as they hybridize with feral chickens.
