I prefer the tuffedtitmouse. I must figure out how to get them to come to the yard. also, native birds are cool! I hope you have a good day!
i love those guys! they really like black oil sunflower seed and peanuts (out of shell is easier for them). you too!
I just wanted to show my appreciation for your blog– I discovered it this month and it’s been super helpful because I’ve been drawing bird girls for Inktober this year (xinling@tumblr if you’re curious!). Thank you for introducing me to so many amazing birds!
that’s awesome! no problem, thanks for sharing!
thank you for this blog! I love birds and bird watching, and now i know one of the mystery birds that I’ve seen around my area! A nuthatch! So thank you!
no problem!! 😀 usually i don’t get lots of notes on american backyard birds like that, people prefer tropical birds that tend to be viewed as more aesthetically pleasing. i love seeing my little nuthatch friends, though!
could you do a bird of the day on eclectus parrots?

chirp chirp , swift person here ! call me stalky but I set up a trashpile blog now ,extra to interact like a civilized person before I drown your delight of a blog with my anon stuff cx
I wanted to ask -may I nominate curie here for bird of the day? Today was a big step for her- actually, the FIRST step she took since I had her, I fished her out of a sewer extremely malnourished a few days ago, weighting sad 177 grams, and she was way to weak to stand up.well, until today, when she got up for the first time as she realized I was feeding the rest of the birbs on the other side of the room, then she wobbled over to demand her share. im hella proud of her tbh and think she’d deserve some credit ❤
