this is “funky beaks” asker. I truly appreciated the birds 😎 Malachite sunbird’s my favourite – long beak, long tail, doesn’t need anything else. Also its wild that a palm cockatoo can’t close its mouth. You’d think that’d be disadvantegous for some reason but they’re not even slightly at a threat of extinction lol. Wild. Anyway TY so much 🌷

their beaks work great for opening tough fruits and nuts! no problem, it’s my pleasure!

This blog is so pure and good!!! I love birds!!! I saw your post on letting life be magical and seeing the red winged black birds. I live in a marshy area and kind of have a low key hobby of watching birds and learning what they are. First time I saw a red winged black bird I was coming back from a walk on the pier and there were several of them in a tree! I think I heard their call and looked up, and the red patches on their wings were so striking and pretty I fell in love.

thank you!! that’s so cool – im very jealous, i haven’t seen one in 3-4 years. i miss them!

(Hello, it’s me again, you’ll probably see a lot of me here because I fell in love with this blog aaaaaaa) I’m from Brazil and I’m seeing so much of our birds here, it’s amazing. One note on the blue macaw, I loved that you mention they’re loud because if you cross paths with one and just “AHHHH” at them they’ll “AAAAAHHHHH” back and probably keep screaming for a long time

there’s so many pretty birds there it’s hard not to post them! omg that sounds amazing

My rooster Chirito live 14 years old (die on 2009 by age) and the best memory of him is that he fight against a guaraguao(red tailed eagle) and win. The predator never return.

um chirito sounds godlike and powerful. you’re lucky to have been the chosen one to own him
