Birds actually like to stick their heads in things and chirp/sing because of the way the sound waves bounce off the inside. It’s like the birb version of when you yell HELLOOOOO into a canyon to hear the echo 🙂
In yet another bad move, Tumblr has apparently made it so that any posts containing links of any kind don’t come up in search results, which is effectively the final nail in the coffin for a lot of content creators
to combat this, and also still find good content, change your searches from ‘tumblr. com/search/ bees’ to ‘tumblr. com/tagged/ bees’ and posts with links in them should still show up
and to help out creators who will inevitably suffer from this, reblogging and sharing our work is now more important than ever, especially things like product adverts, kickstarters, patreons and commission posts. please support your local friendly creatives!
the vast majority of my posts contain links so i’m not just taking content without a source. this will inevitably hurt a lot of educational blogs that link back to source material.
my criminal mastermind and his weird birb henchman 💕
I love seeing these two together, even tho they mainly plan to wreck my room. its just that napoleon never got along with other birds or any animal in general (he a loser so they all bully him ;_;) and him finally having a friend warms my heart,no matter how bad of an influence it may be ;
please never just let your male and female parrots stay in a cage and ‘see what happens’. if you plan on breeding your parrots (which is a questionable thing anyway given how many need homes) PLEASE make sure they have a proper nest box AND you have legitimate, good homes lined up. don’t let your females breed too often, or they will become depleted an can become egg bound or lay deformed chicks. give breeding birds proper supplements. make sure adopters know what they’re doing and make them sign a contract to return the bird if they no longer want it. don’t produce tons of babies that will end up in shelters or rescues.
